|[Lifestyle] “The Agony Of Kurmi” – HRM Queen Hosanna Daniel Caleb|
Facebook – On a Facebook post, the Face of Eflex9ja dropped a very touching and true life research she conducted when she was on a special trip to Kurmi to grace a wedding Event.
Hello people its been a while here, I got a lot to say concerning a trip I had last week for a sister’s/friend’s wedding, I believe you’ve seen lots of pictures and videos about it so am not gonna post any picture related to the wedding but I wanna congratulate the couple Mr and Mrs Wilson Danga and I pray their Union be blessed with long lasting love, and fruitfulness, I pray it serve as a home where others will use to cite examples as a blessful home.Back to the main reason why am writing this, moving through the road of kurmi Abong I saw lots of things that I felt I need to draw our attention to. First and foremost the road is just nothing to ride home about, people are really going through hard times, and these are places where we get most of the things we consume not just in Taraba or Nigeria but even beyond. U see them lacking social amenities when they went extra miles to have their PVCs and vote for candidates who possibly has their interest at heart, but for the long decades I can remember, nothing tangible has been done for these people, yet we use them as tools to get rich and then forget them in return. Its a pity seeing children with so much eagerness to learn but no motivation from the government. Their classes are all damaged, just few teachers are available and they might not be qualified if properly checked.Arriving Abong town, I saw the cocoa farm, the gallons of palm oil, Bunch of Plantains that were carried out. I felt saddened and wondered why these people are still in poverty.Well, of recent I heard a contract has been given for the commencement of road along that axis, I really hope it goes well this time around, not just to the local government head quarters but to other nooks and cranies of the head quarters. This will go a long way in putting similes in the faces of this people. We are blessed with natural resources in Taraba state and kurmi I must say is the richest in all the local government.HRM.
